Returns, Refunds & Cancellations

• The Buyer, prior to giving quotation to the Seller, has already seen, inspected and is satisfied about the condition in which the offered materials is lying in the Seller’s premises and Seller will not entertain any return or rejection of the delivered offered materials.
• In case, the weight of the items is more than the auction quantity, the customer needs to make balance payment to Tata Steel UK before lifting and if the weight of the items is less than the auction quantity, Tata Steel UK will refund the excess amount to the customer after completion of contract. (Not applicable for the items sold on ‘Lot’ basis and not in weight)
• No cancellations of bids, offers or auction rates offered on the platform or outside, will be accepted by Tata Steel once the bids, offers or auction rates are logged into the system.

Note:

• All weighments done by Tata Steel before and during dispatch are final and no complaints basis. (Not applicable for the items sold on ‘Lot’ basis and not in weight)
• The quantity mentioned is tentative and may vary at the time of lifting
• Materials will be sold on “As is where is” basis and no complaints basis. There will be no adjustment with the material value payments for the weight of pallets/drums whenever the materials are to be weighed and sold with the pallets/drums.
• “The auction lot is to be used as scrap only as it’s not fit for use, and it is not to be used in anyway as an end product of use. Tata Steel or its affiliates holds no responsibility for misuse, if any.”
